About the role
- The Information Management team has an exciting opening for a Business Intelligence Analyst.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to understand their data needs and requirements, translating them into meaningful, thoughtful analytics solutions.
- Utilize Tableau and/or Power BI to design, develop and maintain interactive dashboards, reports and visualizations that effectively communicate complex data trends, patterns and insights.
- Lead project management activities, including gathering business requirements and authoring data needs and specifications for the Business Intelligence Developer.
- Ensure all deliverables adhere to established design standards.
- Perform thorough data analysis to identify trends, anomalies and opportunities for process improvements and optimization.
- Develop and implement data-driven strategies to enhance business performance, optimize operational efficiency and drive innovation.
- Business Intelligence Products Support (20%)
- Work closely with the BI Developer to troubleshoot, triage and document modifications to current stored procedures and SQL scripts.
- Create and update end user documentation of BI solutions.
- Develop and apply knowledge of University Advancement's organizational structure to support business and reporting needs.
Requirements
- To be considered for this opportunity, your application must demonstrate that you meet the minimum qualifications and additional qualifications listed below.
- Bachelor's degree AND three years of professional experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst or in a similar role utilizing Tableau for data visualization and analysis.
- Disclosure is required under Washington state law.

Nice to have
- Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation, extraction and analysis from relational databases and experience using source control software.
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling and ETL processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong attention to detail.

Compensation
- $88,500.00 annual Pay Range Maximum:
- $93,852.00 annual Other Compensation:
