About the role
- This role is ideal for an engineer with deep MBS knowledge who enjoys working on a wide variety of PEMB projects in a flexible, remote environment.
Responsibilities
- Design pre-engineered metal building systems across varying project types and complexity levels
- Modify and maintain MBS files and databases as needed
- Manage multiple engineering projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
- Support foundation design efforts for PEMB projects
Nice to have
- Review project drawings, specifications, and documentation to identify and resolve conflicts
- Coordinate with drafting teams to redline and finalize drawing packages
- Provide practical engineering solutions with attention to constructability and field application
- Arizona PE preferred, though reciprocity will be considered
- Strong working knowledge of MBS software and database modification required
- 6-10+ years of PEMB engineering experience preferred
- Understanding of PEMB systems, detailing, and field applications
- Strong communication and organizational skills
