About the role
- This role has the job knowledge and skills to troubleshoot various components including battery electrical.
- Conscious awareness of risks involved in working on high voltage, high pressure hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Conduct functional testing of all systems assembled
Responsibilities
- Perform first time installation of detail parts onto vehicle
- Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical components; review and utilize all electrical and hydraulic diagrams to perform repairs identified during the troubleshooting process
- Complete function testing and support validation checks
- Workplace Organization (WPO); maintain a safe and clean work environment in compliance with safety procedures, rules, and proper 5S standards; use best practices to follow all safe procedures in assembling and testing of models/products in assigned job function
Requirements
- At least 3+ years' experience in automotive manufacturing
- Ability to multi-task and adapt to a changing environment and processes
- Must be able to follow established methods and procedures and perform work accordingly
- Ability to communicate with leadership and fellow team members in both written and verbal forms at a level above standard
- Must be team oriented
Nice to have
- High School Diploma/GED or certification program in equivalent field
- Four years' experience as an assembler (preferably in automotive industry)
Skills
- Use manipulators and tools with standard work instructions
