About the role
- The Information is seeking a reporter to break news and write deeply reported features on venture capital and startups.
- The reporter will scoop hot startup funding rounds as well as report on the startups' financials.
- They'll keep the pulse on how the most influential VC firms are doing-including by profiling their leaders and breaking news on their returns.
Responsibilities
- This reporter will join a team of collegial reporters who share tips and collaborate without some of the typical bureaucracy that characterizes big newsrooms.

Compensation
- 120,000 - 200,000 USD Annually + Bonus + Benefits The salary range posted is based on the company's good faith belief at the time of the posting.
