Carmen Schools of Science & Technology is seeking a Part-Time Cafeteria Support Staff member to support the daily operations of the food service program.
Replenish food items and maintain organized, clean serving areas during meal service.
Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen and serving environment.
Other Duties Perform additional related duties as assigned to support the school nutrition program.
POSITION SUMMARY Carmen Schools of Science & Technology is seeking a Part-Time Cafeteria Support Staff member to support the daily operations of the food service program.
Ability to maintain emotional control.

Basic ability to read and speak/understand English.
General knowledge of materials and methods used in preparing and serving meats, breads, vegetables and other foods on a large scale.
Ability to work with others in a close fast paced environment.
Ability to address students, staff, and visitors in a pleasant, courteous manner.
Demonstrate knowledge of sanitation and food handling practices.
Monitor and record food and equipment temperatures according to required guidelines.
Cashiering and Record Keeping Operate the point of sale system and handle cashiering duties, to track amount food taken Accurately record meals served and maintain required daily records and logs.
Training and Compliance Participate in required training and professional development.
