About the role
- Registers and interviews patients, completes pre-admissions, and ensures information accuracy.
- Handles routine patient inquiries and issues.
- Works closely with other areas including departments and physician offices.
Requirements
- Must be able to push a wheelchair with patient in it and maneuver through doors, up/down ramps and elevators.
- Must be able to lift 20-50 pounds occasionally.
- Accurate spelling and attention to detail required.
- Must be able to key 40 wpm.
- Excellent communication skills and customer services skills required.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Knowledge of patient registration, insurance, and hospital billing preferred.
