This role involves maintaining and strengthening relationships with our vendors and suppliers, leading negotiations, renewing contracts, and collaborating with various departments to understand their procurement needs.
You will report to the Director of IT Procurement and will work closely with other departments, including legal and finance, as well as mentor junior procurement team members.

Develop and implement contract management strategies to optimize the contract lifecycle process and ensure timely and accurate execution of all procurement activities.
Build and maintain strategic relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure consistent performance, delivery, and value for the organization.
Lead high-stakes negotiations with vendors to secure the best possible pricing and terms, maximizing value for the organization's spend.
Collaborate with senior leadership and internal departments, including legal and finance, to understand their procurement needs and address any concerns or discrepancies with vendors.
As a Senior IT Contract Specialist, you will lead and oversee the entire contract lifecycle, from initial request through contract close out, ensuring that all procurement activities are conducted in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.

Minimum 7 years of experience in vendor management, procurement, or a related field, with at least 3 years in a senior or leadership role.
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Proven track record of successful negotiations and vendor relationship management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
In-depth knowledge of procurement and contract management principles and practices.
Knowledge of contractual legal requirements and general accounting processes.
Familiarity with the ServiceNow Platform.
