About the role
- The Strategy & Portfolio Operations team operates across all business units, with a particular focus on optimizing the performance of existing businesses and supporting the identification and execution of high-impact growth initiatives.
- The base salary range for this position is $95,000-$120,000 based on relevant experience.
Responsibilities
- Support the development of long-term business plans in collaboration with FSG businesses.
- Maintain relationships across the sports/tech ecosystem to surface relevant start-ups and trends for the team.
- Support integration roadmap development for new acquisitions, investments, and strategic partnerships.
- Support M&A processes, which include business diligence, legal diligence, and negotiation.
- Improve and maintain reporting frameworks that give FSG leadership, FSG businesses, and investors visibility into portfolio initiatives and performance.
Requirements
- 3-6 years of experience at a management consulting firm or in a corporate strategy or development role at a large company or financial institution.
- Proven ability to work independently in an ambiguous environment.
- Ability to work with confidential and sensitive information in a discreet manner.
- Ability to travel when needed.
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to Boston, MA.
- Must be willing to work in-office.
- Bachelor's Degree required; MBA preferred but not required.
- Intellectually curious and passionate about the business of sports, media, and entertainment.
- Strong modeling skills, including versatility with Excel and other tools, along with strong PowerPoint and oral presentation skills.
- Exceptional problem-solving, decision-making, communication and quantitative skills.
- Organized, self-motivated team player with a strong work ethic and proven ability to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's Degree required
- MBA preferred but not required.
Compensation
- The base salary range for this position is $95,000-$120,000 based on relevant experience.
