About the role

  • The Strategy & Portfolio Operations team operates across all business units, with a particular focus on optimizing the performance of existing businesses and supporting the identification and execution of high-impact growth initiatives.
  • The base salary range for this position is $95,000-$120,000 based on relevant experience.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development of long-term business plans in collaboration with FSG businesses.
  • Maintain relationships across the sports/tech ecosystem to surface relevant start-ups and trends for the team.
  • Support integration roadmap development for new acquisitions, investments, and strategic partnerships.
  • Support M&A processes, which include business diligence, legal diligence, and negotiation.
  • Improve and maintain reporting frameworks that give FSG leadership, FSG businesses, and investors visibility into portfolio initiatives and performance.

Requirements

  • 3-6 years of experience at a management consulting firm or in a corporate strategy or development role at a large company or financial institution.
  • Proven ability to work independently in an ambiguous environment.
  • Ability to work with confidential and sensitive information in a discreet manner.
  • Ability to travel when needed.
  • Must be based in or willing to relocate to Boston, MA.
  • Must be willing to work in-office.
  • Bachelor's Degree required; MBA preferred but not required.
  • Intellectually curious and passionate about the business of sports, media, and entertainment.
  • Strong modeling skills, including versatility with Excel and other tools, along with strong PowerPoint and oral presentation skills.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, decision-making, communication and quantitative skills.
  • Organized, self-motivated team player with a strong work ethic and proven ability to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines.

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • MBA preferred but not required.

Compensation

  • The base salary range for this position is $95,000-$120,000 based on relevant experience.
