About the role

Responsibilities
- Our natural setting is enhanced by its modern, attractive, and state-of-the-art classroom buildings and support facilities.
- The Assistant Athletic Director for Media Relations and is responsible for all public- facing external communications, media relations, and information in support of Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi Athletics.
- Maintain current and historical statistics including records for athletic teams.
- Collaborate with the School of Communications on projects and internships.
- Maintain the infrastructure and processes behind ESPN+ streaming productions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in communications, journalism, sports administration, or closely related field.
- Two (2) years of related experience in athletics communications or broadcasting
- Master's degree in communications, journalism, sports administration, or closely related field
- Master's Degree.
- Strong knowledge of SIDEARM CMS or comparable website management software.
- Experience with Adobe Premier or other video editing software.
- Additional education may be considered as a substitute for the minimum experience required:
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated student-worker supervisory experience.
- Experience with Adobe Premier or other video editing software. Live video streaming experience.
- Intermediate skills in various computer programs including StatCrew, Genius, Photoshop and InDesign.

- 100% tuition coverage for up to 18 credit hours per fiscal year (other rules may apply).
