We're growing—and we're looking for an Electrical Designer / Engineer to grow with us.
The HIDI Group is an employee-owned, multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy delivering world-class solutions across Canada. With over 150 professionals and offices in Toronto, Ottawa, and Calgary, we bring together eight integrated disciplines—Mechanical, Electrical, Fire Protection, Lighting, Communications & AV, Security, Commissioning, and Energy

Lead small to mid-sized projects, managing scope, schedule, and deliverables
Support project planning, including budgets, timelines, and deliverables
Design & Technical Execution
Participate in the design and development of electrical systems
Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and HIDI design practices
Support client communication, including presenting designs and technical solutions
As an Electrical Designer / Engineer (Project Lead), you will lead small to mid-sized projects while contributing to the design and delivery of electrical building systems.
You'll be responsible for coordinating project activities, supporting technical delivery, and mentoring junior team members-while continuing to build your own technical and leadership capabilities.
