About the role
- You will respond to and process complex scheduling requests for University Scheduling, including those from student groups, WSU departments, and off-campus entities, while ensuring compliance with all university, department, and approved usage policies.
- You will also assist in the development and enhancement of scheduling software and web services to maximize operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- As the Events Coordinator, you will plan, arrange, and coordinate facility and logistical support for the Compton Union Building.
- In this role, you will maintain scheduling operations and supervise event setup staff for all event spaces within the Compton Union Building, helping to ensure successful event execution and exceptional customer service.

Nice to have
- Two years of experience with event coordinating, planning, scheduling, risk management or related field.
- Previous experience with event coordinating, planning, scheduling or risk management.

- Word processing and computer experience.

- In accordance with RCW 49.58.110, the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position.
Compensation
- Monthly Salary: $3,738 to $4,980 | Range 41 | Steps A - M | Successful candidates are typically hired at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases in accordance with WAC 357-28.
