About the role
- You will identify and source the correct parts, provide accurate pricing and availability information, process orders, and communicate delivery timelines and associated charges.
- Every interaction should give the customer or technician confidence that their parts' needs are being handled accurately and promptly.
Responsibilities
- Support Service Technicians by accurately identifying and sourcing parts needed for vehicle repairs
- Maintain clear documentation and follow up on open or backordered parts
- Help maintain an organized, efficient, and customer-focused parts department
- As an Experienced Parts Counter Advisor, you will provide knowledgeable and efficient parts support to retail customers, wholesale accounts, and dealership Service Technicians.
- Success in this role requires strong automotive parts knowledge, attention to detail, urgency, and the ability to build positive relationships across the dealership.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of automotive parts, accessories, and repair terminology
- Experience using electronic parts catalogs and dealership management systems
- A strong sense of urgency and the ability to prioritize competing demands
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to successfully complete all pre-employment requirements
Compensation
- Commission-based pay plan with opportunity to earn $50,000–$65,000 annually!
