Responsibilities
- Manage general ledger accounts and perform account reconciliations
- Maintain fixed asset register and calculate depreciation
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes
- Support tax preparation and planning activities
- Implement best practices and internal controls
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 2 -3 years combination of progressive accounting and auditing experience
- Experience with month-end close processes
- Proficiency in general ledger accounting
Nice to have
- CPA candidate or pursuing CPA certification (preferred)
Skills
- Strong knowledge of GAAP principles
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Archway, or similar)
- Familiarity with ERP systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Team player with ability to work independently

- The ideal candidate will have at least 2 -3 years of combined accounting/ or audit experience (can be in small or midsized public accounting firms) and will be responsible for managing various accounting functions, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and supporting month-end and year-end close processes; various management reporting; and various ad hoc responsibilities.
