- This includes cutting and welding metal pieces and products using flame-cutting and hand-welding equipment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain, organize, and keep work area and equipment in operating condition.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Two years experience in a structural welding environment
- Ability to pass a Fillet Weld Test.
- Must be able to move objects and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue.
Nice to have
- Monday - Thursday 4:00pm to 3:00am - Plus a $2.00 shift differential
Skills
- Knowledge of metal and basic shop fabrication equipment.
- Knowledge and proficiency in MIG welding with the ability to pass a welding test.
- Knowledge of TIG welding is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Ability to withstand pressure and adapt to change.
- Ability to multi-task while meeting strict deadlines.
Compensation
- $25.00 - $30.00 per hour - depending on experience
