About the role

  • Contribute to GUI development and tooling to improve the usability of our simulation environment.
  • Responsible for closely collaborating with Headquarter Research Team of Watt Lab and product teams by regularly reports, including progress of research projects and presentation of results.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement advanced cell balancing algorithms to optimize battery pack performance and BESS lifetime under electricity trading.
  • Analyze experimental and field data to calibrate and validate simulation models.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of lithium-ion battery chemistry, cell balancing techniques.
  • Proficiency in battery system modeling tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink, Python, COMSOL, or equivalent).
  • For python, experience with scientific libraries (NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, Matplotlib) is essential.
