About the role
- Under the supervision of the Area Supervisor the incumbent is responsible for operating 1.5-ton trucks to assist with snow removal and other winter maintenance tasks.
- The pay range for this role is $23-$25 hourly, depending on experience and qualifications.
- Operate a 1.5-ton snow removal vehicle safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Webber supports a wide range of project models to meet client needs, including traditional design bid build, design build, alternative delivery models and public private partnership (P3) solutions.
- Webber also has an in-house engineering services department to help optimize building efficiency and quality while solving complex project challenges using field experience, innovative construction methods and BIM technology.
- Collaborate with team supervisor and other team members to complete tasks in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and material used.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any issues.
- Perform basic mathematical functions.
Requirements
- Required to be available for emergency response rotations as needed for overtime, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to work in an environment in which demands and priorities change rapidly.
- Knowledge of snow removal techniques and equipment maintenance. (Asset)
- You must have the ability to recognize hazards inherent in routine and non-routine tasks and make adjustments to avoid loss, injury or accident.
- You must be able to communicate with co-workers' safety instructions.
- You must be able to think clearly and focus on your safety in your immediate surroundings, while using tools and equipment, while driving or operating equipment.
- You will be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) appropriate to your job
