About the role

  • Our first of kind systems produce commercial-scale battery materials that are sold into the battery manufacturing supply chain.
  • The Maintenance Technician at ABTC will work closely with Engineering, EHS, Operations, Production, and R&D teams to effectively enhance production at our Pilot Plant.
  • The ideal candidate should possess a solid background in industrial manufacturing, with a focus on hands-on repairs.

Responsibilities

  • This position involves monitoring, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing process equipment to support the production of advanced battery materials.

  • Perform diagnostic troubleshooting as well as preventive and corrective maintenance.
  • Capacity to maintain a safe and tidy workplace while complying with company policies and industry standards.
  • Capacity to perform repetitive tasks.

Requirements

  • Ability to work in environments that may involve prolonged exposure to noise, dust, and chemicals.
  • Ability to walk throughout the facility.
  • Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including but not limited to eye and face protection, hearing protection, respirators, and protective footwear with coverings.
