About the role

  • This role ensures capital projects-such as replacement, reinforcement, relocation, and growth initiatives-are developed, planned, coordinated, forecasted, and built on time and efficiently.
  • You will provide detailed planning, construction expertise, and leadership throughout all project phases, aligning with department goals and project objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical construction and project management support for pipeline construction projects, including the planning, design, procurement of materials, constructing, and commissioning of pipeline facilities.
  • Manage the completion of projects using principles of building and project coordination. Projects are typically cross-functional and often require forming and leading cross-departmental teams.
  • Support all parties involved in performing construction-related activities to ensure scope of work is executed safely and in accordance with applicable specifications and work permits.
  • As a subject matter advisor, develop and communicate mitigation strategies related to construction execution risks.
  • Ability to manage and coordinate individual capital project financials and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously to meet defined turnaround times.

Requirements

  • A valid "G" class Ontario driver's license and maintenance of a responsible driving record is required which will be validated before hire.
  • Final candidates for this position may be required to undergo a security screening, including a criminal records check.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree (business or engineering degree is preferred) or related construction or operational training and experience, combined with 4 years of work-related construction experience.
  • For candidates who do not possess a university degree, an additional 3-years of related experience is required.

Compensation

  • Ranges from $81,090 - $121,090 CAD for Canadian locations (except Alberta) based upon candidate's experience, skills, and internal equity.
  • Applicable compensation policies and guidelines apply to internal candidates.
