  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: - Foundational knowledge of normal and abnormal anatomy and physiology, basic radiologic technology concepts, and CT‑related terminology.

Responsibilities

  • Utilizing core knowledge, skills, abilities, and available resources, provides safe, high‑quality, efficient, and patient‑centered care and support services under routine or emergent conditions.
  • Prepares patients for procedures and correlates clinical history with physician‑ordered exams to support appropriate imaging.
  • Demonstrates the ability to recognize basic imaging artifacts and implement corrective measures independently or under guidance.
  • Effectively communicates and collaborates with patients, families, and the care team to support desired clinical outcomes and service standards.
  • Accurately document in EMR/PACS
  • Supports inventory tasks as needed to help ensure supplies are available.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • License(s)/Certification(s)/Registration(s) Required: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) required upon hire.
  • ARRT(RT) certification required within 12 months of hire.
  • ARRT(RT)(CT) certification is required upon hire.
  • Foundational knowledge of normal and abnormal anatomy and physiology, basic radiologic technology concepts, and CT‑related terminology.

Skills

  • Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy
  • Knowledge of and ability to apply HIPAA guidelines and standards.
  • Displays consistency and dependability by reporting to work as scheduled.
  • Ability to be sensitive to patients' physical and psychological needs.
