About the role

  • This position teaches, plans, directs and coordinates student activities at the elementary level: academic, social, physical and spiritual wholeness, with compassion, encouragement and leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Essential Job Functions Maintain a positive Christian atmosphere in the classroom.
  • Encourage and build mutual trust, respect and cooperation among students, faculty and parents.
  • Maintain thorough student records to document attendance, participation, or progress, ensuring confidentiality of all records.
  • Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with staff and maintain them over time.
  • Maintain a professional behavior in accordance with the Teacher Manual and Harvest Christian Fellowship Employee Manual, and a wiliness to follow school's policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • A full-time Teacher must be a born-again Christian, committed to living a biblical lifestyle and called by God to teach at Harvest School.
  • A full-time Teacher must be dependable, friendly, enthusiastic, creative and organized, with the ability to relate well with children, parents, school staff and volunteers.

Compensation

  • $45,744.00 - $65,380.00
