About the role
- We are seeking a reliable member to join the eGenesis Farm Operations team and assist in all farm activities including operating large equipment, hay production, landscaping, and basic animal care of swine.
- This position requires working a rotating weekend and holiday schedule.
- This position requires physical demands such as climbing, stooping, crouching, sitting on equipment such as lawnmowers and tractors for extended periods, and handling/moving swine throughout the facilities.

- eGenesis is a clinical-stage biotechnology company developing human-compatible engineered organs to address the severe global organ shortage.
- EGEN-2784, a genetically engineered porcine kidney, is the Company's lead program and is currently being evaluated in a multi-patient Expanded Access study at MGH. eGenesis is headquartered in Cambridge, MA.

Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in large animal care and handling
- 1+ years of experience in facility and equipment maintenance
- Working knowledge of animal husbandry, including nutrition, reproduction, and safety
- CDL driver's license and welding experience desired but not required
- Working knowledge of data collection and recording
- The right individual will have experience working with large animals, farm equipment, and must be able to perform maintenance on equipment and buildings.
- Experience with hand tools and power tools is required.
- The right individual must be detail-oriented with strong communication skills and the ability to work as a team and individually.
