Responsibilities
- This role is responsible for following operating instructions to perform and document daily controls and calibration of equipment; maintain Quality Assurance/Quality Control logs for equipment troubleshoot breakdowns, perform preventive maintenance, and submit repair tickets as needed.
- Additional responsibilities include providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of Legacy-GoHealth Urgent Care Centers.
- Collaborate with the ordering/treating Provider to determine which procedures or views will best assist in accurate diagnoses and treatment.
- Support clinic operations to keep the center running smoothly.
Requirements
- Maintaining accurate patient records and logging completed procedures in electronic systems and/or logbooks as required.
- Knowledge of X-ray procedures and protocols.
- Knowledge of radiology equipment including safety hazards common to radiology.
- Required Licenses/Certifications
Nice to have
- High School Diploma required
- Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist program required
- Experience in a clinical setting preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required at the time of hire, obtained through the American Red Cross (ARC) or American Heart Association (AHA).
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration required at time of hire.
- State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist is required at the time of hire (if applicable by state law).
- Complete preventive maintenance on radiology equipment to ensure consistent operation.
- Techniques may include following manufacturer's instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, calling for repairs, maintaining equipment inventories, evaluating new equipment and techniques, etc.
