About the role
- Carmen Northwest Campus is seeking a dynamic, student-centered Middle School Social Studies Teacher who embodies our core values of Empathy, Growth, and Belief.

Responsibilities
- Work with an Instructional Coach to continually improve one's teaching practice in a way that supports raising the achievement levels of traditionally underserved students.
- Create trusting relationships with students and their families/guardians, involving parents in the student's overall success.
- The Middle School Social Studies Teacher will design engaging, rigorous lessons aligned to Carmen's academic standards and foster a classroom environment where all students feel valued, supported, and challenged.
- The teacher will collaborate with colleagues, participate in ongoing professional development, and contribute to a positive school culture that prepares students for success in high school, college, career, and life.
- We believe all students can succeed in college, build meaningful careers, contribute to their communities, and lead fulfilling family lives.
Compensation
