About the role
- About the Position The Golden State Warriors are looking for a Director with a positive track record of sales success and leadership to guide and mentor our growing sales team.
- In this role, you will be expected to sell and close at a high-level while contributing to the team's overall success.
- This position reports directly to the Vice President, Ticket Sales and Services.
Responsibilities
- Oversee full-time and part-time Group Sales team, monitor productivity, assess performance and support in hitting sales goals
- Maintain sellout streak while maximizing revenue
- Develop and lead special event strategy
- Find opportunities for Group Sales support for Thrive City events
- Provide Group Sales support for non-Warriors events at Chase Center when requested
- Develop and coordinate training programs for Group Sales staff
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to collaborate, influence and build positive relationships with clients and peers at all levels
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 7 years of sales experience, preferably in a ticket sales within the sports & entertainment industry
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Archtics and Salesforce
- A successful track record of leadership and driving sales revenue
- Ability to balance multiple projects at once in a fast-paced environment

Compensation
- $80,000 Per Year + Bonus
