About the role
- As a Project Manager, you will play a critical role in delivering innovative solutions on commercial and government contracts that align with our capabilities and growth strategy.
- The Project Manager is expected to proactively identify risks and resolve issues to ensure successful project outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Lead milestone reviews and status updates with external stakeholders
- Track progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
- Manage project & labor budgets to achieve customer priorities and project needs
- Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with customers, provide regular updates, and address concerns promptly
- Strong communication skills to lead meetings, including demonstrations, requirements discovery sessions and retrospectives
Requirements
- You are able to break down complex projects into actionable tasks, ensuring teams stay on track and meet deadlines.
- The right person for this role has at least two years of experience in project management, and a demonstrated track record of initiating, executing, delivering, and closing projects.
- You are proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable navigating the complexities of federal acquisition processes (FAR/DFARS).
- You can also understand a customer's needs and communicate them effectively to the technical team to ensure customer succ ess.
- Most importantly, you are driven by the challenge of growing a company, excited to work in a small, agile team, and eager to make a tangible impact on the company's success.
- Must be eligible for a US security clearance
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Project Management, Business Administration, CS, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience planning, managing, and executing projects
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies ( e.g. Agile) and knowledge areas (e.g., Scope Management, Stakeholder Management) and the ability to apply them to plan, execute, and monitor projects effectively
- Experience with tools such as Jira and GitLab
