About the role

  • This is a rare opportunity to bring dedicated ownership to innovative work already underway, helping focus and accelerate how Color's oncology care programs grow, scale, and reach more people.
  • As the General Manager for Oncology Care, you will serve as the business owner for a critical product and service line at Color.
  • You will guide program strategy, product direction, commercial growth, and market presence, working across teams to ensure the offering is clinically strong, operationally scalable, commercially compelling, and deeply useful to patients and customers.

Responsibilities

  • You will develop business cases for new capabilities, program improvements, and expansion opportunities, balancing patient impact, customer value, operational feasibility, and business outcomes.
  • You will partner with go to market, clinical, product, engineering, and operations teams to bring new capabilities from concept through launch and ongoing improvement.
  • You will partner with sales and account teams on strategic customer conversations, renewals, and feedback from the market.
  • You will develop and maintain sales playbooks, pitch messaging, objection handling, and competitive intelligence
  • You will develop deep buyer fluency across payers, employers, and cancer centers that accelerates deals and builds trust

Requirements

  • You are a builder and an operator.
  • You've been the external face of a business or program and convey credibility and expertise.
  • You are equally comfortable with product strategy and commercial execution.
  • You can understand buyer needs, shape a compelling offering, support customer conversations, and work through the operational details required to deliver.
  • You are highly effective in ambiguity.
  • You are collaborative by default.
  • Hands-on experience with go-to-market work such as positioning, launch planning, sales enablement, customer discovery, strategic sales support, pricing, packaging, and/or direct selling.
  • 15+ years of professional experience, with meaningful tenure in health technology, healthcare delivery, oncology, specialty care, payer, employer benefits, or related fields in high growth environments.
  • A background that spans both product or program strategy and commercial execution.
  • Fluency with healthcare buyers, payer, employer, and/or cancer center economics and incentives.
  • External credibility with customers, partners, industry audiences, or senior healthcare stakeholders. You've been the external face of a business or program and have presented at panels, keynotes, sales meetings.
  • Experienced, reliable judgment in complex, ambiguous, or high-stakes environments. People who've worked with you will say you go deep on the details of the problem to make hard calls well and get the details right.
  • Comfort operating in a high-growth environment where priorities evolve, ownership is broad, and strong accountability and cross-functional partnership is essential.
  • Empathetic leader and communicator who can rally an organization and external stakeholders around an important priority and lead to execute effectively.
