About the role

  • Sigma Defense is seeking a Senior Configuration Manager to join our team in Duluth, GA.
  • This is a contingent position that is pending award of contract.
  • This means that the position is subject to the successful awarding of a contract and will be confirmed once the contract is finalized.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures configuration identification by reviewing design release documents for completeness, proper authorizations, and system updates.
  • Develops configuration and data management documentation based on program requirements.
  • Participates in design reviews, audits, scheduling, budgeting, etc.
  • Identifies requirements and participates in the development and implementation of computer based configuration/data management systems and related support.
  • Regulate the change process so that only approved and validated changes are incorporated into product documents and related software.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field of study.
  • 5 additional years of experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
  • Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active Secret security clearance or higher.

Nice to have

  • 1 academic year at an accredited college or university in an an accredited preferred degree related post-secondary program for 1 year of experience.
  • Configuration Management experience in vehicle or tactical integration work is ideal.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.

Compensation

  • $60,000 - $90,000 annually.
