About the role

SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE Chrome Hearts is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Set-Up / Operator to join our team.
This role involves loading parts, setting up the machine, and performing various operations to ensure high-quality production of wood parts.

At times, machines and hand tools may create dust as well as noise exposure that is within sound level parameters.

The successful candidate will work directly with a CNC programmer to perform machine set-ups and operate a 30 Taper 4-spindle rotary CNC wood router machine.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Load parts into the machine and perform set-ups according to production paperwork instructions.
Collaborate closely with the programming department to relay important information for updating production packages.
Maintain accurate maintenance logs and record any issues with the machine.
Clean and maintain the CNC router machine and dust collection system, including performing daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance routines.
Perform various manual operations to prep blanks for production, including gluing materials, using hand drills, and skill saws.
Maintain a safe and organized work area.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for prolonged periods of time, some sitting, some walking.
Employees will operate a variety of equipment and hand tools in a repetitive manner requiring a high degree of manual dexterity and close visual attention.
The employee must be able to carry and/or lift up to 50 lbs if needed.

Experience with cutting various types of wood.
