About the role

  • What it's like to be a Northbridge Senior Underwriter: Our Senior Underwriters provide complete solutions for our commercial mid-market businesses.
  • They are passionate about maintaining strong relationships with our internal and external stakeholders and love utilizing their strong technical skills to ensure that risks are assessed properly.
  • This position is with our Health, Education, Social Services, and Senior Care (HESS) division.

Responsibilities

  • Building relationships with brokers
  • Helping others develop through coaching and mentorship
  • They work closely with a wide range of broker partners to get a holistic picture of each risk and make underwriting decisions that make sense for all parties.
  • While Senior Underwriters are already experts in their own field, Northbridge is committed to their ongoing growth and development.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of Underwriting experience in property, casualty, automobile

Compensation

  • The base salary range for this role is $80,000- $110,000, which reflects the expected base pay – not the total compensation package.
