Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain time standards, wage incentive plans, and productivity metrics using established methodologies.
- Partner with engineering to conduct efficiency studies, support capital expenditure justifications, and improve plant layout.
- Support production teams by addressing labor issues, resolving grievances, and acting as a resource for workforce-related challenges.
- Drives operational efficiency by optimizing labor utilization, staffing, and production processes.
- Supports business performance by providing data-driven insights and recommendations to management.
- Plays a critical role in maintaining positive labor relations, including grievance resolution and arbitration support.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment with cross-functional engineering and maintenance teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and technical skills, including knowledge of MOST, Six Sigma, and Lean manufacturing methodologies.
Nice to have
- Exposure to unionized environments and labor relations processes is preferred.
- Master's degree preferred.
