About the role

The Senior Insurance Accountant will report to the Financial Reporting Manager.
The position will be responsible for both insurance and general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and special projects as needed for our newly acquired two legal entities.
The Senior Accountant will be an integral part of the Finance team, interacting with team members and external constituents.

Support of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
Support for internal and external audits, including preparation of audit schedules and responses to PBC requests.
Support for ad hoc projects including process improvements, system enhancements, acquisitions, and integration initiatives.

The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
Assistance with preparation of Annual and Quarterly Statutory Statements and related schedules and footnotes.
