This position is primarily teaching-focused with expectations for student engagement and reasonable expectations for scholarly/professional activity.

A master's degree (including an MBA) in Finance, Financial Planning, or a closely related field from a regionally accredited institution is required at the time of appointment.
PhD or DBA in Financial Planning, Finance, or a closely related field is required.
Industry experience in Financial Planning.
Industry experience or research expertise in AI, GenAI, or related areas.
Experience in coaching and mentoring students.
Experience with bringing a financial planning program through CFP Board registration.

Minimum Qualifications
A master's degree (including an MBA) in Finance, Financial Planning, or a closely related field from a regionally accredited institution is required at the time of appointment. ABD and doctoral candidates are encouraged to apply.
Demonstrated commitment to quality teaching and student development.
Ability to teach in multiple modalities, including online, HyFlex/Multimodal, and in-person, or a willingness to develop these skills.
Interest in and commitment to diverse cultures and populations.
