About the role
- The Food Rx Senior Coordinator will oversee program operations, participant engagement, team supervision, budget management, and key partnerships with UHN.
- This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in community-based work and is committed to food justice.
- Operations & Logistics Engage up to 1000 Food Rx project participants through registration, intake, and ongoing project relations.
Responsibilities
- Lead engagement through regular check-ins with Food Rx project participants through in-person conversations and phone calls, administer surveys throughout the project period, manage data entry, and provide data reporting support.
- Familiar with G-Suite in (Google Drive, Sheets, Docs, Calendar, Gmail, etc.).

Requirements
- & Experience Minimum 3+ years experience in community-led food projects, neighbourhood-based community organizing and/or working with grassroots organizations.
- Minimum 2+ years experience managing community-based program logistics, including scheduling, participant coordination, and service delivery.
- Minimum 2+ years experience managing partnerships and working collaboratively with external stakeholders, and/or institutional organizations.
- We believe that those most affected by an issue must have access to paid positions in organizations tasked with challenging poverty and food insecurity.

- Excellent conflict resolution and problem solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Compensation
- 4 weeks paid vacation per year (prorated for termed contracts, accrued at 8% per pay period).
- 10 paid personal leave days per year
