About the role
- Dandy is hiring an experienced Controls Technician to join our rapidly growing venture-backed company.
- In this role, you'll oversee the maintenance and functionality of automation equipment controls and other controls systems as needed.

Responsibilities
- Work with automation engineers to create and implement programs and processes to optimize equipment efficiency
- Manage and perform equipment calibration, repairs, preventive maintenance, and testing
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds, work within a confined space, climb ladders, and perform other physical tasks for multiple hours/day
- Ability to work occasional overtime/weekends as needed to support production goals and equipment shutdowns

Requirements
- Experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and software systems.
- Proficiency with hand and precision tools and computer usage.
- Ability to clearly communicate about technical concepts.
- A self-driven individual with a desire and ability to work under minimal supervision
- Demonstrated proficiency in speaking, reading, writing, and understanding the English language
- Experience with Siemens controls
- Bachelor's degree in engineering
