About the role
- Engineering a world of possibilities Mines Office of Research Administration is hiring a Proposal Analyst!
- You will serve as a resource to faculty and administrators in the administration of sponsored research, specifically the submission of funding proposals to external organizations.
- include advising faculty about funding sources, sponsoring agency, Federal and State rules and regulations and School policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Perform cost negotiations with project sponsors; including a justification of costs and explanation of school polices and business practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
- Work experience or associate's degree which provides the same kind, amount and level of knowledge acquired for a BA may be substituted for the degree
- Knowledge of regulations governing sponsored research
- Demonstrated customer service skills, the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community and ability to meet multiple deadlines
- Ability to critically analyze information and use problem solving skills
