About the role

  • Today's aircraft contribute around 4% of global CO2 emissions, equivalent to the emissions of 200 million cars.
  • This is only going to increase: Air travel is forecasted to double by 2050, while meaningful efficiency gains using current airplanes have hit a wall.
  • It uses up to 50% less fuel and will be built to accommodate zero-emission hydrogen propulsion.

Responsibilities

  • The selected candidate will be responsible to build and lead a team of specialists who will integrate inputs from internal and external stakeholders to develop the Cabin and Cargo Systems features of the JetZero Blended Wing Body Aircraft, including but not limited to the following commodities:
  • Develop interface and integration requirements and digital models with internal teams and external commodity suppliers and manage same through the product lifecycle, from development through Entry Into Service and beyond
  • Develop and release parts/models and manufacturing installations and support certification team with applicable documentation
  • Develop and deploy processes and tools in collaboration with internal stakeholders
  • The selected candidate will be responsible to build and lead a team of specialists who will integrate inputs from internal and external stakeholders to develop the Cabin and Cargo Systems features of the JetZero Blended
  • You should be prepared to speak about past projects, how you collaborate and communicate with others, and how you live our values.

Requirements

  • Previous development and leadership experience with Commercial or Corporate Aircraft Cabin Systems development (10 years or more)
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
  • Knowledge of Siemens Suite: NX, Teamcenter, etc.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and installation standards

Compensation

  • Our compensation package is a blend of base salary and equity options for eligible employees.
  • The range for this role is $160,000 - $195,000.
