Providing technical support/expertise to the plant safety professional on facility safety initiatives when designing and/or redesigning work processes to eliminate workplace injuries and illnesses.
Providing engineering studies, designs, and justifications for approval to support Operations' goals.
Keeping historical data, to analyze and to monitor key efficiencies and parameters against design to assist Operations with troubleshooting and meeting costs and production goals.
Keeping current in discipline, to assess new technologies and ideas, to develop, evaluate, and seek approval for new concepts to improve the efficiency and the capability of the process, the life of the facility, and the product quality.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment, build consensus, and foster relationships at multiple organization levels and across different organizational functions. Is self-directed and demonstrates high level of initiative.
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot process & equipment, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement action plans and follow-up to ensure effective results.
Ability to successfully implement capital projects/permits and perform engineering functions in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment, build consensus, and foster relationships at multiple organizational levels and across various organizational functions.

Process improvement experience in manufacturing operations environment.
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present technical information and prepare concisely written reports.
Demonstrated degree of sound judgment, resourcefulness, initiative, and innovation in handling complex technical assignments, with minimal supervision.

Bachelor's degree in engineering-related discipline or equivalent technical experience.
Chemical, Mechanical, and Industrial Engineering degrees preferred.
Knowledge and expertise of the corn wet milling process, and the systems and fundamentals involved in its operation preferred.

$84,400.00-$112,533.33 Annual
This pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Ingredion Annual Incentive Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus.
Final base salary will be determined based on several factors which may include but are not limited to responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data and applicable bargaining agreement (if any).
