About the role
- This role will provide high quality certification, testing and field evaluation services that meets the clients' needs in the most efficient and effective manner possible while ensuring safe products are available in the public marketplace.
- This activity requires the interpretation of standards, processes, and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently manages certification projects concurrently and ensures completion within time frames and cost deadlines in order to generate specified revenue targets.
- Able to consistently maintain very high productivity while managing multiple projects with on-time and on-budget performance.
Requirements
- M akes technical decisions based on a high degree of knowledge, training and experience on certification and testing to maintain the integrity of CSA's global certification programs.
- Participates in CSA Technical Network, Technical Panel as required and may support international standards development.
- Collaborates with Lab Technician to create a work order which test are required and
- the order of the tests and the number of samples required.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of CSA, UL and IEC standards
- variety of test procedures specific to the HVAC area
- Specific knowledge of, and substantial experience with, UL 60335-2-40 Fourth Edition
- Knowledge of CSA programs and services
- Leadership and management skills
- Computer proficiency (word processing)
- Strong problem-solving ability
- Strong organizational, time, and project management skills
