Requirements
- Candidates should also have hands-on expertise in cable pulling, fire stopping, cable dressing, and labeling according to industry standards.
- U.S. Citizenship required
- DoD Secret clearance required
- 7+ years relevant experience in:
- Experience with Fiber Characterization testing and resolution
- Familiarity with DISA installation procedures and operational guidelines (NIPR, SIPR, JWICS, Centrix)
- Must be able to work safely following company policy/procedures on safety
- Must be capable of physical activity, including maneuvering around the building (including comms closets), prolonged standing, repetitive bending, climbing, and lifting 50lbs+
- Ability to obtain soldering certification through a company-supported training plan
Nice to have
- Security+ certification (preferred but not required)
- BICSI Installer or Technician or Cisco certification(s) preferred
- Soldering certification, or the ability to obtain certification through a company-supported training plan.
- Experience as a fiber optic specialist
- Applicable software or hardware training and certifications aligned with technical objectives, services required, and IT environments
- Proven experience as a fiber optic specialist (BICSI Installer/Technician certification a plus)
Compensation
- The pay range for this position is $70,000-$90,000 annually, based on skills and experience.

- U.S. Citizenship required
- DoD Secret clearance required
