About the role

  • Job Description Job Description Summary: The Men's Club Hockey Assistant Coach works with the Head Coach to provide supervision and effective leadership to the ice hockey club sport program.
  • The minimum assistant coach rate for this role is $2,500 per season.

Responsibilities

  • include fostering skill development and teamwork among students; promoting and upholding institute policies and procedures; and initiating activities in support of the sports club.
  • This position collaborates with the head coach to provide skill and developmental support of the team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Knowledge of Skill Development
  • Skill development experience
  • The assistant coach will assist with team organization and required paperwork for ACHA Division 3 membership.
  • A member of the coaching staff is required to be at all practices & games.

Nice to have

  • Working knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures and ability to use in varied situations.
