About the role
- expanding our platform beyond fuel into the broader universe of operational expenses, including expense management, accounts payable, reimbursements, and vendor payments.
- We're looking for someone who is comfortable operating in ambiguity, curious about complex financial workflows, and motivated by turning messy, real-world problems into simple, intuitive products.
- You should be equally comfortable thinking at a systems level and getting hands-on, whether that's pressure-testing a concept, prototyping a flow, or working closely with engineering to translate constraints into thoughtful product decisions.
Responsibilities
- Drive high-velocity execution with a world-class team of engineers and designers, balancing principled intuition with data-driven decision making
- Collaborate with sales, customer success and marketing to deliver a product and brand of high quality
- Minimum 4 years of product management or adjacent product-building experience
- Strong customer empathy and design thinking
- Passion for AI, shown through hands-on building, prototyping, or side projects, and staying current on research and tools
- Fluency with modern prototyping tools (e.g. Cursor, Bolt, Claude Code) and comfort with design/collaboration environments like Figma and Git.
- Proven ability to lead small, cross-functional teams toward ambitious goals with urgency and agency
- Experience building AI products
- Experience building in finance, enterprise, or other domains requiring complex systems thinking
Requirements
- BA/BS in an analytical field (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Applied Sciences) or equivalent technical experience
- Ability to translate between technical and non-technical audiences, synthesizing complex systems into compelling narratives
- Experience in high-growth startups
Compensation
- $180,000-$220,000 USD
- Annual salary: $180,000-$220,000 USD
