About the role

  • Salaries at the time of hire are typically in the lower to middle portion of the above range in order to provide the opportunity to reflect future performance-based increases.

Responsibilities

  • The successful candidate will have the ability to oversee multiple contractors and develop and maintain good working relationships within the refinery organization, agency regulators, and contract providers.
  • Manage and track budgets and expenditures.
  • Specific job duties include providing facility environmental support under the facility RCRA, NPDES, and BWON requirements.
  • To provide multimedia support for a heavy industrial manufacturing facility.

Requirements

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret process data, general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations is required.

Nice to have

  • A Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) in Engineering or Science is required
  • a B.S. in Chemical Engineering is preferred.

Skills

  • A Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) in Engineering or Science is required; a B.S. in Chemical Engineering is preferred.
  • Five years of relevant environmental, refining, petrochemical or chemical industry experience is preferred.
  • Previous US DOT HAZMAT Shipping and RCRA Training is preferred.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedures is required.
  • Proficiency with basic computerized office systems such as Microsoft Word and Excel is required.
  • Proficiency in SAP, Essential Suite, and Enablon is helpful.
  • The position involves rotational on-call responsibilities.
  • The salary range for this position is $106,787.51 - $176,060.47.
  • The compensation range listed in this posting is in compliance with applicable state law.
