About the role
- Primary Responsibilities - Lead by example, specifically with regard to the Arconic Values, EHS and HR policies. - Lead the Materials Organization: Purchasing, Production Planning, Inventory Control, Warehouse Operations and Shipping/Receiving teams. - Manage manufacturing planning and scheduling, raw material purchasing, shipping, etc. to ensure customer
- requirements are met on time. Review requirements for new orders or customer order changes to determine impact on production and capacity planning. Provide solutions to any conflict that may affect on-time delivery to the customer. - Drive continuous improvement in Materials functions: reducing lead times, improving forecast accuracy and increasing
