Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Valid CO Driver's License is REQUIRED
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily.
  • The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in a high-volume clinic or community health setting
  • Experience with respite care or street outreach is preferred.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) is REQUIRED
  • Expertise in advanced clinical procedures and medical assistant best practices.
  • Strong leadership and mentorship skills with the ability to train and support junior staff.
  • Proficiency in electronic health record systems for documentation, scheduling, and task management.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a trauma-informed, patient-centered approach.
  • Successful completion of a Medical Assistant program or equivalent training (EMT or CNA).
