- Ames Construction is seeking experienced construction craftspeople for a heavy civil/industrial construction project near Minneapolis and St.
- Positions include heavy equipment operators, truck drivers, carpenters for concrete construction, pipefitters, millwrights, and general laborers.
Requirements
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions (Heat/Cold)
- Ability to work safely and efficiently with tools and equipment including power and non-power tools
- Must be willing to work non-traditional hours to meet project needs
- Must have dependable transportation
- Must be comfortable working at heights, confined work areas, or various depths (trenches)
- Possess tools required for position sought
- Valid Driver's License may be required
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old

- Frequent activity: standing, walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, carrying, swinging, reaching above shoulder, pushing, pulling and/or balancing on a construction site with rough or uneven terrain
- Periodically lift or move up to 50 pounds
Nice to have
- Experience in heavy civil and/or mining construction preferred
Compensation
- Base salary range is $24-$45/hour, which varies depending on many factors, including relevant experience, skills, and knowledge.
