Responsibilities
- Measures and track subordinates' performance and develops training programs to maintain optimum service levels and to obtains maximum productivity and efficiency.
- Creates short to midrange plans to carry out objectives established by management.
- Responsible for overall equipment performance & maintains equipment downtime to an acceptable level
- supports equipment upgrades/new installations.
- Maintains and follows preventive maintenance, corrective, predictive programs for manufacturing equipment. Keep close communication with Maintenance Planner to assure plan accuracy.
- Supervises and monitor technicians execution to assure and adhere with GMP, optimum time completion, assure costs, productivity, yields, lead time, service levels, and inventory control (spare parts) activities are in line with business goals.
- Provides administrative support to business and quality systems representing the process area being supervised.
- Maintains adequate floor control.
- Responsible for overall equipment performance & maintains equipment downtime to an acceptable level; supports equipment upgrades/new installations.
- Facilitates communication to associates and create a Credo based environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is required.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience is required in a maintenance manufacturing environment is required.
- Must be computer literate in email, word processing, and spreadsheets.
- Must be detailed oriented and have the ability to develop and meet deadlines, and be able to delegate and follow-up.
- Assure that technicians have the adequate tools and provide the tool required for their works.
- Experience working at medical device industry preferred.
- Able to read, speak, and write Spanish and English.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Demonstrated experience as a lead or supervisor.
- Skills in the following areas: Conflict Resolution, Managing for Performance/Accountability and documenting issues, as well as developing leadership and ownership in individuals.
