About the role

As a result of accelerated growth, Altus is looking for a new Cost Consultant, Loan Monitoring.
This is an exciting opportunity to be on-site for high-profile, complex construction projects from institutions such as schools and hospitals to mixed-use, office, and government buildings and corporate towers.

Deliver pre-development services. You will establish the feasibility of the project and identify risks.
Review the development schedule and develop cash flow projections.
Perform reviews of all material financial project documentation implications.

AI tools may be used to support the initial stages of screening for this role; however, all assessments and final hiring decisions are reviewed and made by an Altus Group hiring professional.

A degree or diploma in Architecture, Construction or Civil Technology, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Science, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in loan and project monitoring.
Strong knowledge of RICS Project Monitoring guidelines, CIQS standard method of measurement, both elemental and trade, provincial lien acts, and CCDC standard contract conditions.
You can relay delays and setbacks while managing expectations and retaining the client's confidence.
Anticipate, understand, and respond to the needs of clients, and you are driven to meet or exceed their expectations.
You can innovate solutions to keep the project - and the business - moving forward.
Ability to cross-team collaboration.
