About the role

At Abby Care, community is our greatest strength-and we're looking for a Community and Events Associate to bring that to life.
This role is all about creating meaningful, consistent, and inclusive touch points that connect families, reduce isolation, and foster a sense of belonging among our members.
You'll be the face of Abby Care in the field-part strategist, part storyteller, and always a connector.

Build and maintain partnerships with local nonprofits, advocacy groups, and community-based organizations that serve eligible families.
Track engagement, lead generation, referral, and conversion metrics to evaluate awareness-building efforts and optimize outreach strategy.
Collaborate with internal teams to integrate events and community presence into broader growth, outreach, and retention strategies.
You will proactively represent Abby Care at local nonprofit gatherings, community events, and family-focused forums to raise awareness among families who may qualify for services and the organizations that support them.
You'll build relationships, create online and offline spaces for connection, and expand brand visibility across the communities we serve.

Experience in community engagement, events, outreach, or grassroots organizing.
Strong communication skills-you're a natural storyteller and relationship builder.
Comfortable initiating conversations with families and community leaders in event settings.
Self-starter who thrives in ambiguous, fast-moving environments and takes ownership of territory growth.
High emotional intelligence and genuine passion for serving underserved communities.
Comfortable working independently and in a field-based role.
Fluent Spanish-speaking is preferred
