Responsibilities
- Performing all duties as designated by plant manager and in support of Sonoco's quality and safety policies
Requirements
- Must have Forklift experience
- Must have core manufacturing experience.
- Previous leadership experience in manufacturing/warehouse/shipping leading a crew/ team required.
- Must be able to do basic production-related computations.
- Ability to demonstrate integrity in relation to safety, quality, and customer service.
- Ability to read and understand manufacturing instructions and specification sheets.
- Possess an understanding of continuous improvement methodology and experience with continuous improvement tools
- Consistently providing expected deliverables and required administrative tasks
Nice to have
- Maintaining a safe, clean and organized work area, Familiarity with 5S a plus.
- 5 years prior manufacturing experience preferred.
- Shipping & Receiving experience preferred
