About the role

General Summary of Position Responsible for leading assigned appointments and meeting with potential customers to accomplish the ultimate objective of successfully closing a sale; generating positive profitability and exceeding customer expectations.

As a Design Consultant, you'll lead customer appointments from start to finish-meeting with prospective clients, understanding their needs, and guiding them through the sales process with confidence and professionalism.
Your goal will be to build strong relationships, deliver an exceptional customer experience, and turn opportunities into successful sales that drive both customer satisfaction and business success.
Develop accurate pricing and proposals using the Retail Cost Breakdown (RCB) methodology and price book standards, consulting with the Regional Sales Manager when pricing falls outside established company guidelines.
Build and expand a local referral network by actively pursuing club memberships, developing relationships with landscapers, builders, and related businesses, and identifying new sales prospects to grow referral-based opportunities.
Engage in ongoing performance management and development, including monthly meetings with the Regional Sales Manager to review progress against individual sales plans, evaluate results, and implement corrective actions as needed.
